We finally spoke with Apple. Seems there was a bit of a slip-up and our Linterna app was accidentally approved for the App Store. They explained that Apple is no longer accepting flashlight-only type apps, which is understandable because there is quite a few of them already.

The main purpose of writing Lintera was to set everything up on the developer portal, see what the submission process was like, get an idea of the time between submission and approval, etc.

Thank you to everyone who downloaded v1.0, we really appreciate it and hope it's of some use to you!  

If we can determine a way to distribute Linterna outside the App Store, and if it's not too involved for the end user, we'll look into making v1.01 an ad-hoc app and putting here for download.
